Mole, Skin Tag and Skin Lesions Removal

Mole Treatment in Raleigh

Dr. Kessler Hudak is well-trained in assessing skin lesions, particularly of the face and neck. After an exam, she will be able to advise you as to the likelihood you have a cancerous or pre-cancerous skin lesion (“bump”) and what the best course of action is to take.

If it is likely cancerous, she will recommend total excision or biopsy, and sending it to a DermatoPathologist, who is a physician subspecialized in diagnosing diseases after viewing tissue specimens under a microscope at the cellular level. Dr. Kessler Hudak will then close your tissue with sutures or Steri-Strips…whichever is likely to give you the least amount of scar in that particular area of the body.

If it is likely pre-cancerous, she may recommend either total excision or biopsy. Alternatively, if it is small enough, it may be photographed and then destroyed using the Ellman Radiofrequency Surgitron.

If it is likely benign (non-cancerous, such as a skin tag or cyst), she will photograph it and destroy it with the Ellman Radiofrequency Surgitron. Most medical journal articles discuss the Ellman RF Surgitron as “scarless mole removal,” because it seldom leaves a person with noticeable scar!!
