Pixel8-RF

Microneedling with Radiofrequency at its Best

For more than a year, Dr. Kessler Hudak researched and interviewed owners of the various microneedling/radiofrequency devices, before choosing the one deemed the overall BEST: the Pixel8-RF.

Pixel8-RF….What is it, and how does it work?

Pixel8-RF is a minimally-invasive non-surgical procedure that tightens skin…anywhere on the body of any skin type. It uses microneedling and fractional bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) to achieve this. The microneedling sends many tiny needles into the anesthetized skin’s dermis, creating thousands of tiny injuries….which triggers the body to repair itself by producing lots of NEW collagen and elastin. The radiofrequency is heat energy that is sent along the gold-plated microneedles , which causes a tighter re-coiling (that is, a rejuvenation) of the OLDER collagen and elastin. Together they result in a remodeling of the skin to a truly younger form, thickness, texture and elasticity!! This radiofrequency energy is very precise, so risks of thermal damage to the skin or pigmentation problems are extremely low…therefore, it can be used safely even in darker skin types.

Pixel8-RF…What does it treat?

  • Skin Tightening
  • Wrinkles
  • Acne Scars
  • Skin Tone & Texture
  • Stretchmark Reduction
  • Redness
  • Pore Reduction
  • Eyebrow Lifting
  • Jowl Lifting
  • Neck Lifting
  • Hand Rejuvenation

Pixel8-RF…What is Post-Procedure like?

There is very minimal to NO downtime involved. The treated area may be red for up to a day, especially if your treatment was more aggressive. There may be some mild swelling. Makeup is safe to apply 24 hours after treatment. The number of treatments you will need depends on your pain tolerance, since we will treat as aggressively as you can tolerate to keep the number of treatments needed to a minimum. Most people will need 2-4 treatments to achieve their goals…but some may need as many as 6 (spaced 1-2 months apart), and others only 1! We have the following available for pain control: topical anesthetic, cold blowing air, and Pro-Nox (laughing gas).
