Echo 2 Pulse Oxygen Treatment
As we age, our bodies begin to lose their ability to retain and use oxygen to stimulate the growth of new skin cells. This inability to retain and use oxygen at the celluler level, causes the skin to age prematurely, and it begins to break down. This is important for several reasons. The first is cosmetic. The health of our skin greatly affects the way it appears! When our skin is healthier, we have a beautiful, youthful glow. When it is unhealthy, it can look dull. It ages us! Another reason this breakdown is important is medical. We suggest oxygen facials to all of our surgical patients, both prior to and after a surgical procedure. When the skin is healthy, its recovery time is greatly reduced.
What to expect: This relaxing facial treatment begins with a gentle exfoliation of the skin to remove dead skin cells, followed by a cleansing of the treatment area. Once the skin is cleansed a process known as Osmotic Hydration is preformed, and a topical vitamin mask is massaged into the treatment area, drawing moister into the skin cells just beneath the epidermis. After the Osmotic Hydration is complete pure oxygen gas, along with vitamins A, C, E, and 87 other minerals, amino acids and enzymes penetrate the deep the dermis layer of the skin by way of a cool soothing mist.
