One of the most persistent problems a patient faces is determining what is and isn’t covered under their insurance policies. Adding to this confusion is that some procedures we perform may actually be covered only by your medical insurance and some only by your dental insurance.

We are familiar with many of the local policies, but to protect your benefits we will try to get pre-estimates of coverage prior to surgery. At your initial visit our office will always try to inform you before we perform any procedures of your financial obligation.

Our office policy is to request the estimated patient’s portion at the time of surgery. This amount is only an estimate, and after we receive the insurance benefits there may be an additional payment due. We will of course reimburse patients in the event of an overpayment.

For your convenience, we accept CareCredit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but that must be implemented prior to the actual procedure.
